Jeff played Constable Mark Rodriguez, He see's a man struggling in the water. Mark dives in to save him. The papers call him a Hero.
Marks Horse starts acting funny towards him. It seems that awhile back Mark caught some teens drinking by that river and when he tried to take Beer away from one of the teens. The teen gets knock by accident off a small cliff. Mark drives in to save him, but couldn't find him. Ever since that day Marks horse looses cofendce cause he couldn't help Mark. So now at Heart Land Ranch, Amy helps Marks Horse to trust Mark again. And it works!
Episode 8 "Summer's End" (2008)

There is a cattle truck loaded with thirsty and overheated horses who pulled into Heartland. The Man driving works for a man named ED who teats Horses badly.
Lou (the woman Mark sees) calls Mark for help.
Episode 9 "Showdown" (2008)

Mark and Lou are kinda dating. But the real story here is that Cattle rustlers are stealing peoples Cows.
Mark Being from the RCMP is there to try and help everyone stay protected and how to save their Cows. But Tim thinks Marks Ideas are stupid and wont save anything. He gets shot trying to do it his way.
Episode 10 "True Enough" (2009)
Jeff played Constable Mark Rodriguez.
Mark and Lou seemto be getting serious, but when she see's Mark kissing another girl all bets are off.
Mark tells her that he thought the relationship isn't serious. He tells her that we're allowed to date whom ever we want.
But she doesn't want that.
